Chicago-based KamberEdelson filed a class action Thursday that alleges Amazon violated the terms of use for its Kindle product when it deleted copies of George Orwell's "1984" and "Animal Farm" from Kindle users' electronic libraries. Labor and employment attorneys nationwide are scrambling to ensure employers are in compliance with new federal rules governing deferred-compensation plans that could expose employees to substantial financial risks.
