Former Name Partner Claims Firm Owes Him Fees, Origination Bonus

A former name partner of the defunct Florida law firm Bedzow Korn Brown Miller & Zemel is suing his old firm over a business origination bonus and fees he claims he was never paid. Franklin Zemel, now of counsel at another Florida firm, filed suit alleging Bedzow Korn failed to honor its employment agreement with him, which guaranteed a $20,000 bonus if he brought in $500,000 or more per year in new business.
