Corporate immigration firm sues Department of Labor
New York's Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy is suing the Department of Labor over its audit of the firm's immigration applications. The DOL announced in June that it was auditing Fragomen's permanent labor certification applications, saying some of its attorneys may have improperly advised clients during the permanent labor certification application process. Fragomen is seeking an injunction to stop the DOL's actions.
