Womble Carlyle Aims to Double Size of Atlanta Office

Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice is considering hiring groups of laterals as part of a plan to double the size of its Atlanta office "as soon as possible," according to Steven S. Dunlevie, the local managing partner for the Winston-Salem, N.C.-based firm. The firm has a total of about 500 attorneys nationwide, 75 of them in Atlanta. As for a potential merger, Dunlevie said Womble "is not ruling anything out."
