Mediator Named for World Trade Center Suit

John S. Martin, a former judge who issued several key rulings in the multibillion-dollar insurance dispute over the World Trade Center's destruction, will try to mediate a settlement in the case. One reason law firms are not shying away is that most of the work consists of individual asylum applications, which tend to be discreet.
