L. Lin Wood Jr. is garnering a roster of clients likely to turn him into a public figure - among libel lawyers. Newsweek broke the story that JonBenet Ramsey's parents, Atlanta residents John and Patsy Ramsey, hired Wood as their lawyer. The magazine reported that the Ramseys plan to pursue the tabloid media because of its coverage of their daughter's murder. Wood already gained notoriety when he represented Richard Jewell, the security guard wrongly accused of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing.
