Veteran Litigator Klock Among Those Leaving Squire Sanders for Epstein Becker

Longtime Steel Hector & Davis managing partner and prominent litigator Joseph Klock Jr. is leaving Squire Sanders & Dempsey to join Epstein Becker & Green, along with at least one other equity partner and five other attorneys. Klock gained international fame by successfully representing the then-Florida Secretary of State in a quest to get the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the 2000 presidential vote recount ordered by the state Supreme Court. But many observers blame his management for Steel Hector's collapse.
