In this new era of corporate criminal investigations, fundamental shifts are taking place in the corporate defense practice. While working to uncover wrongdoing, the investigating lawyer used to present a united front on behalf of both the corporation and its employees. The lawyer jousted with the government and sought to limit the flow of information.
