Auto Insurance Reform Sponsor Says It's Time To Scrap No-Fault

One of the prime sponsors of last year's automobile insurance reforms in New Jersey says he's now convinced it's a failure and that the only way to bring about rate reduction is to abolish the state's no-fault insurance scheme. "The 26-year-old no-fault experiment in New Jersey has been a failure and cannot be fixed or repaired," wrote Sen. John Adler. Other states have been moving away from the no-fault scheme, and only 12 other states still have it.
