Federal Judges Financial Info to be Posted on Web

In a surprising turnaround, the Judicial Conference of the United States voted to allow federal judges' financial disclosure forms to be released for publication on the Internet. The vote effectively reverses a controversial decision by the conference's Financial Disclosure Committee last year. The committee ruled last December that financial reports should not be turned over to APBnews.com, a Web site that focuses on criminal justice news.
