Bingham to Open Hong Kong Office
Coming late in the game to the China market, Bingham McCutchen announced Monday that it will open a three-lawyer Hong Kong office on Jan. 1. Other firms have more robust and established Asia practices, but Bingham's London managing partner, James Roome, said his firm's office will be different. "The globalization of distressed investing by hedge funds and investment banks is leading us to Hong Kong," said Roome.
