Duane Morris's client, MP3tunes, could have been on the hook for billions of dollars for the infringement of thousands of songs. Under Monday's ruling, in which a court found that much of MP3tunes' activity was protected by a safe harbor in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, its damages may be capped at $70 million.
