Supervalu Moving 400 Idaho Jobs to Minn.

Supervalu Inc., the nation's third-largest grocery chain, said Friday it would transfer 400 positions from the former Albertson's Inc. Idaho headquarters to the company's corporate offices in Minnesota over the next 18 months. Supervalu acquired about 1,100 grocery stores from Albertson's in June when the Boise-based supermarket chain was split into three parts and sold. An investment consortium and the drugstore chain CVS Corp. acquired the other parts.
