Day Pitney's Alliance With Minority-Owned Firm Targets Diversity Push

Day Pitney went public last week with plans it hopes will make it more attractive to corporations clamoring for larger numbers of minority attorneys on their outside counsel teams. The question is how general counsel will look upon the firm's new "strategic alliance" with Gray Haile, a minority-owned corporate law boutique based in Washington, D.C. "We hope that the arrangement will be attractive to corporate America and its diversity initiatives ... ," Day Pitney co-managing partner James Sicilian said.
