Class Action Bid Rejected in Ex-Baseball Players Suit
A group of retired baseball players cannot join forces in a class action suit against computer game manufacturers who create fantasy games with the former stars' statistics. Fulton Superior Court Judge Wendy L. Shoob on Friday denied a motion for class certification in a suit brought by four former players against several companies which they claim use the names, likenesses and biographical data of the former players without their permission-and compensation."Portrait of Wally," the subject of a 12-year battle with Vienna's Leopold Museum, will finally see the light of day.
