A premarital agreement rife with unusual clauses is at the center of a split New York ruling that upheld a decision to award Jacoby & Meyers owner Gail Koff 65 percent of the marital assets in her contentious divorce. An appellate court ruled the agreement between the then-Skadden associate and her future husband to be invalid for the manner in which it was recorded. The court also upheld a finding of cruel and inhuman treatment, the basis of the divorce.
