Winter in Woodstock

Balsam wreaths on every door, white candles flickering in windows, an oval Town Green straight out of a Grandma Moses painting. Throw in first-class restaurants, skiing, and a reputation as one of the most beautiful villages in New England, and it's no wonder that chilly Woodstock, Vermont, is heating up as a winter getaway.
