Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads will raise the starting salary for first-year associates to $125,000, citing the "need to stay competitive for the best and the brightest," says Chairman Stephen Madva. Montgomery McCracken says it's in a growth mode and that its merger with Crawford Wilson & Ryan at the end of May would probably not be the last.
