CUNY Team's Central American Effort
A team of students from the City University of New York School of Law, working with feminist attorneys in Nicaragua, has brought pressure on the government of that Central American country to amend its total ban on abortions, including therapeutic abortions when the mother's life would be endangered by giving birth, which were allowed until 2006.
