Clarifying the Pleading of Loss Causation

Securities fraud defendants will be heartened by a recent decision that makes it clear that a purchase-time value disparity allegation suffices only to establish transaction causation and that, instead, a plaintiff must plead a causal connection between alleged misstatements and the harm actually suffered.
