Green Tech: Can IT Outsourcing Help Cure Our Energy Blues?

To begin with, IT services and service providers themselves will inevitably have to become more energy efficient, as IT related energy consumption will no doubt comprise an ever increasing percentage of total energy use. But efficiency on the delivery side is only part of the story - and probably in the long term not the most significant contribution IT will make.
