Ross Nadel, the former criminal chief of the San Francisco U.S. Attorney's Office, starts Monday as a partner at Cooley Godward. Nadel, who also founded and led the highly regarded Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property unit, retired from the office in June after 24 years there.
