Ramsey Libel Case Against Court TV to Be Heard in Georgia

Ruling against Court TV, a federal judge in Atlanta decided that a libel case against the cable network brought by John and Patsy Ramsey, parents of the murdered JonBen�t Ramsey, should be tried in Georgia rather than in New York state. The Ramseys sued the network on behalf of their son, alleging that Court TV defamed him when the network and television panelists suggested that he had, at one time, been a suspect.
