NEW YORK AP - New York's attorney general sued 35 law firms Wednesday over what he said were botched attempts to collect debts from thousands of people.The suit is the second legal action to spring from an investigation of American Legal Process, a Long Island company accused of cutting corners and committing fraud after it was hired to serve debt collection lawsuits on people across the state.
