The attorney met with unauthorized clients at his law firm's office, used documents that included the firm's letterhead and a firm-issued email address to conduct legal matters, with "many emails specifically [instructing] ghost clients to send documents and payment for legal fees to Respondent at his home address," according to a stipulation to disbarment.

A Washington state attorney has been disbarred, effective Dec. 27, after an investigation revealed that he used his firm's resources to represent at least 150 "ghost clients" from 2010 to 2019 without the firm's knowledge, according to the Disciplinary Board of the Washington State Bar Association.
