Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, an employment law firm representing management, has expanded to larger headquarters at 26 Main St. in Chatham. The new space has more than 9,000 square feet of offices and meeting space. This move enables the firm to meet the increasing needs of the firm and its clients. The new space also allows for expansion as the firm's practice continues to grow its presence in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area, Nukk-Freeman & Cerra said.

Former AG Porrino Joins Public Affairs Firm

Former New Jersey Attorney General Chris Porrino has joined Mercury, a bipartisan public strategy firm, as a member of its advisory board. Porrino becomes part of a group of former high-level public officials at Mercury. Mercury partner Mike DuHaime said Porrino's “depth of knowledge of the legal system and state and federal government, along with his experience in crisis communications, will be a tremendous asset to our team.” Porrino said he “look[s] forward to helping Mercury grow its already stellar brand in New Jersey and beyond.” Porrino is currently a partner and chair of the litigation department at Lowenstein Sandler in Roseland. He was the 60th attorney general in New Jersey history. Prior to his government service, Porrino was a partner and vice chair of Lowenstein Sandler's litigation department. He graduated from Lehigh University and Seton Hall University School of Law. Mercury has offices in Washington, D.C., New York, California, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Tennessee, London and Mexico City.

Buckley Theroux in Princeton Welcomes Daniel Esposito

Daniel Esposito recently joined Buckley, Theroux, Kline and Petraske in Princeton as of counsel. For more than 25 years Esposito has handled trials representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other health care entities in medical malpractice cases and administrative matters including licensure, credentialing and reimbursement issues. He also provides representation to health care entities and nonprofit organizations in commercial- and employment-related matters. Esposito graduated cum laude from Boston College in 1988 and received his law degree in 1991 from The American University, Washington College of Law. He served a judicial clerkship with Superior Court Judge Anthony J. Parrillo. He has been published in multiple legal periodicals and regularly speaks at legal seminars on health care law-related topics and is a trustee to the Somerset County Bar Association. Esposito is certified by the state Supreme Court as a civil trial attorney.

Lorraine Belostock received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was the administrator editor of the Public Interest Law Journal and secretary of the Women's Law Association. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Rutgers College. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a certified student prosecutor for the Boston University School of Law Criminal Law Clinic. Most recently, she worked as a criminal defense associate for a Boston firm.

Alexander B. Imel received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he served as managing editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. While attending Columbia, he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and was awarded the Neil McDonell Memorial Prize for Outstanding Service to the Journal as a senior editor. He received his B.A, magna cum laude, from Lafayette College. Prior to joining the firm, Imel was an associate at another New Jersey firm.

Fox Rothschild Welcomes Associate Kimberly Bennett to Princeton Office

Fox Rothschild added Kimberly Bennett to the Princeton office as an associate in the real estate department. Bennett represents buyers, sellers and developers in an array of real estate matters. She has experience representing municipal planning and zoning boards, and obtaining land development approvals for commercial developers and homeowners. She assists with commercial real estate contracts, agreements and corporate asset sales. Bennett also handles commercial litigation in connection to real estate title disputes and construction contracts, among other matters. She was previously an associate at King, Kitrick, Jackson & McWeeney in Brick Township.
