Finding the Right Place to Sue

The business community will be closely focused on arguments this morning in a pair of cases that some say could change the product liability landscape. The cases, Ford Motor Co. v. Bandemer and Ford Motor Co. v. Montana Eighth Judicial District Court, involve when courts can exercise specific jurisdiction over an out-of-state defendant in suits by injured plaintiffs.
