Good morning and welcome to Supreme Court Brief. The justices have a full April calendar with two arguments on each day. We take a look at who is on the phone. The April argument session normally would be the last of the term, but in the virus-era there has been nothing routine about the recent terms. When the April session ends, the justices have another argument to hear: Terry v. United States, set for May 4. Plus: Will there be tougher appellate disclosure rules for amicus briefs? A familiar name appeared on an amicus brief in the challenge to the male-only draft.

April Argument Session: Who's On the Line?

The April argument session is one of the busier sessions of the term, with two cases on each of the six days. Of the 14 lawyers arguing in the first week, three are women and four are attorneys who are making their debuts.
