Good morning and welcome to Supreme Court Brief. This morning the justices wrap up the March session with one argument, Viking River Cruises v. Moriana, the third of three arbitration cases this month. We check in on some of the arguments in Viking. Wiley Rein’s amicus brief in yesterday’s arguments in Torres v. Texas Dept. of Public Safety struck a chord with some justices as it showed how few cases the government prosecutes for violations of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. We speak with one of the lead brief writers, partner Scott Felder.
