Bring a scorecard to the U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments set for Oct. 7. With six lawyers arguing in three cases that involve three defendants and two separate issues, you’ll need something to keep things straight.

Reginald Carr Jr., involve brothers who were convicted in the same quadruple murders in 2004—labeled by some as the “Wichita Massacre.” The third case, Kansas v. Sidney Gleason, involves an entirely separate double murder in Great Bend, Kansas, in 2004.
