The University of Texas System Board of Regents released on Feb. 12 the long-awaited investigatory report by Kroll Associates. The report had leaked earlier to other news organizations, but a full copy may be found here, with the law school-related results starting on page 64.

According to the report, although the law school has a holistic admission process, GPAs and LSAT scores “appear to play” the most prominent role in admissions.

The admissions deciders are the assistant dean for admission and financial aid and the director of admissions. The report concludes that even though “the professionals in these roles perform their jobs with integrity,” the calls that come in from the dean, the President's Office, the Board of Regents and public officials, including legislators, are also influential.
