An Austin attorney was arrested and charged with a felony in a hit-and-run accident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries.

Brian Michael White of Austin was charged with failure to stop and render aid, a third-degree felony, according to an April 27 affidavit for warrant of arrest and detention. He was booked into the Travis County jail on April 26 and released the same day on a $40,000 bond.
