When Harry Susman, a partner in Houston’s Susman Godfrey, applied to law school, he followed a long family tradition. His father, Steve Susman, had followed his own father and mother, Harry’s grandparents, into the law business.
Despite those multigenerational ties to lawyering, however, neither Susman now predicts with certainty that one member of their family’s next generation will become an attorney.
