Disgraced district judge Angus McGinty will serve two years in federal prison after he was convicted of one count of honest services wire fraud for taking car repairs from a lawyer in exchange for favorable defense rulings in criminal cases.

Criminal-defense lawyer Alberto Acevedo Jr., who bribed McGinty, will serve one year in prison and three years of supervised release after he was convicted of one count of theft or bribery concerning programs receiving federal funds.
