Andrews Kurth represents Enterprise Products Partners in the Houston midstream energy services company's pending sale of offshore Gulf of Mexico pipelines to Genesis Energy for about $1.5 billion in cash.
Genesis, a midstream energy master limited partnership based in Houston, is using lawyers from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
On July 16, Genesis announced it had entered into purchase and sale agreements with an affiliate of Enterprise to purchase the offshore Gulf of Mexico pipelines and services business from Enterprise. Genesis expects the transaction to close during the third quarter.
