Locke Lord represents NextEra Energy Partners in its pending $2.1 billion acquisition of Houston-based pipeline company NET Midstream.
NET Midstream is using lawyers from Latham & Watkins.
On Aug. 3, NextEra, based in Juno Beach, Florida, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the privately held NET Midstream, which owns seven long-term contracted natural gas pipelines in Texas, including a pipeline from the Eagle Ford Shale to the border with Mexico.
