High-level staff who are the closest to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton feel stressed and worried about his indictments.
“We're watching him go through being indicted. That's not fun. You know, we are all prayerful and supportive and hopeful,” said first assistant AG Chip Roy. “At the end of the day, we're a working family, and we try to have each other's backs at the staff level, and obviously we care that this works out the best possible way for Ken.”
But there's a caveat for Roy.
