Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons will open an office in New Orleans on Jan. 1, 2016, with a group of litigators from the New Orleans office of Burleson LLP, a Houston-based energy-focused firm that is closing Dec. 31.

Mark Clark, a partner in Burleson’s New Orleans office, said he and New Orleans partners Scott Winstead and Jeffrey Bridger have committed to moving to Thompson Coe on Jan. 1. He said at least one associate will join them, but others may as well.
