A group, led by partner Staton Childers, joins Adams and Reese in Houston.

Adams and Reese has expanded in Houston with a group of five trial lawyers who moved from LeClairRyan's Houston office.
The lawyers are partner Staton Childers; Benjamin Miller, Brianne Richardson and Amanda Sanders, who joined as special counsel; and John Kovach, who joined as an associate.
Childers said he has known some of the Adams and Reese lawyers for a decade and knows the caliber of the firm. But he added that a big reason he decided to change firms was to benefit his clients.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
