Vinson & Elkins leads the six Texas firms that are among the nation’s busiest dealmaking firms included on the 2017 Corporate Scorecard compiled by The American Lawyer.
Vinson & Elkins was ranked for its work during 2016 in four corporate areas: corporate debt, equities, initial public offerings and REIT work. The Houston-based firm was ranked first for representing U.S. issuers in equities with $13.48 billion total, and also ranked first for representing issues in IPOs, with a total of $1.23 billion in offerings.
