Two Houston-area attorneys who specialize in insurance, business, real estate, and construction matters have left Gauntt, Koen, Binney & Kidd to form their own firm.

Dan Woodall and Charles Batchelor, who have been friends since their undergraduate days at Baylor University in Waco, announced the establishment of their firm on Wednesday, although they actually opened the doors to Woodall Batchelor on June 1. The pair said they have spent three whirlwind weeks just getting the firm up and running.
