Craig A. Stanfield litigates commercial, product liability, environmental and constitutional cases at the trial and appellate levels. He has experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States, from state district courts to the U.S. Supreme Court. Although he advocates for early, efficient case resolution when possible, Stanfield takes cases to trial when necessary and has first-chair experience at the U.S. state and federal levels. His extensive trial experience across multiple industries and legal areas enable him to analyze the key issues in a case and determine how best to present it to judges and juries. Stanfield's practice covers manufacturing, automotive, energy, aviation, financial services, computer software, chemical and food, among others. In his appellate practice, Craig litigates appeals in state and federal appellate courts, including before both the U.S. Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Texas. He has represented clients successfully on direct appeals and original proceedings. At trial, Craig uses his appellate background to position cases for favorable resolution on appeal, including preserving error and preparing jury charges. He also represents clients in arbitrations, including appearances before the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
