David B. Gail

An associate in Weil's Corporate Department, David Gail has been involved in some of the nation's most prominent and complex transactions. In the last 15 months alone, Gail has played an integral role in 18 significant M&A transactions across the world, including his role as the lead associate advising TA Associates in its acquisition of Austin-based Professional Datasolutions and subsequently advising PDI with half a dozen add-on deals worldwide. He was also a key team member advising Providence Strategic Growth on its majority investment in Blue Star Sports, a leading youth sports software company headquartered in Frisco. Gail recently led the team that advised Blue Star on its sale to San Francisco-based Genstar Capital. He was also an integral team member in Kainos Capital's recent acquisition of Conroe, Texas-based Country Fresh, and one of his more public transactions was as the lead associate on Weil's team advising AMR Corporation, parent company of American Airlines, in its $18 billion merger with US Airways Group.
