Three Polsinelli shareholders will be honored by the National Diversity Council during their upcoming Legal Diversity Week. Gemma Descoteaux will be honored as a “Top 50 Women Lawyers” in Dallas, Suni Sukduang will be recognized as a “Top Lawyers Under 40” in Houston and Henry Talavera will be honored as a “Top 5—Multicultural Lawyers” in Dallas. Descoteaux is a member of Polsinelli’s corporate and transactional practice group and shareholder. Sukduang, is the chair of Polsinelli post grant practice group. Talavera is a member of the employee benefits and executive compensation practice groups at Polsinelli.

Gardere partners Rachel Steely and Cristina Solomon were honored with Prestigious Business Awards. Solomon has been named on the Texas Executive Women’s 2017 Women on the Move list. Solomon is one of the 10 outstanding women in Houston selected for her exceptional contributions to business and community service. Steely, co-chair of Gardere’s labor and employment practice group, has been named on Houston Business Journal’s 2017 Women Who Mean Business list. She is one of only 70 women in Houston selected for the honor, and the only law firm lawyer in her recognition category.
