Irell & Manella has made Jong-Ho Lee the Steph Curry of semiconductors.

An Irell team led by partner Jason Sheasby bagged a $400 million jury verdict Friday in the Eastern District of Texas for the IP arm of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, a research university known as KAIST. Lee pioneered an advancement known as a bulk 3D FinFET transistor while employed there.
