Adrian L. Talamantes has joined Holland & Knight in Houston, where he is a member of the firm's Latin America and energy practices. Talamantes represents companies and individuals in a broad array of domestic and international business transactions. He previously was an attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Nisha Kalidas has joined Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith as an associate in the firm's Houston office. Kalidas has experience in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. She handles personal injury and wrongful death claims arising in commercial trucking, premises liability and commercial litigation.

Krista P. Hanvey and Andrew LeGrand, both based in Dallas, are among 17 attorneys recently elected partners in Gibson Dunn & Crutcher. Hanvey has experience with all aspects of executive compensation, retirement plan and health and welfare benefit plan compliance, planning and transaction matters. LeGrand is a litigator who focuses on class actions and other high-stakes commercial disputes. Their promotions are effective Jan. 1, 2019.

Travis E. Vickery has joined McGinnis Lochridge as of counsel in Austin. Prior to joining the firm, Vickery served as an administrative law judge with the State Office of Administrative Hearings. He is in the electric energy practice group at McGinnis Lochridge.
