Tracey Reisman Gerber has joined Porter Hedges in Houston as a partner in the firm's real estate section. Gerber has more than 14 years of experience in real estate law. Her primary focus is the representation of landlords and tenants in complex lease issues.

Kurt Krolikowski, a Houston-based litigator, is among seven lawyers promoted to partner in Locke Lord. He represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes, including consumer finance, energy and construction-related cases. Recently promoted partners in the firm's Dallas office are Kyle Davis, who counsels clients in a variety of commercial real estate and finance transactions, and Matt Davis, who handles complex business-related and financial services litigation, including litigation involving mortgage lending practices, state and federal fair debt collection practices, contract claims and fraud.

Alexis Swanzy has joined Kessler Collins in Dallas as an associate. Swanzy focuses her practice on commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she had an internship at the Federal Trade Commission and externships at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the legal department of a real estate developer.

Katrina Eash, Rex Mann and Justin Reinus have been promoted to the position of partner in the Dallas office of Winston & Strawn. Eash and Mann are trial lawyers who focus on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation. Reinus advises clients on initial public offerings and other equity offerings. Alex Niebruegge has been promoted to partner in the firm's Houston office, where he concentrates on energy transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters.

David “Viddy” Harris and Paul Klecha have joined the Houston office of Patterson + Sheridan. Harris is an intellectual property attorney, a chemist and a patent-holding inventor. He has represented clients in matters ranging from oncology, polymer formation, refinery and software to matters to small molecule pharmaceuticals. Klecha was a patent analyst at an intellectual property research and consulting firm before he attended law school. He is in the firm's mechanical and chemical engineering practice group.

Honor

Demetra L. Liggins, a Houston partner in Thompson & Knight, has been selected to be in the 30th Class of Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy. The class will be inducted as fellows on March 15, 2019, in Coronado, California.

New Location

Husch Blackwell has moved its Dallas office to the newly constructed tower at 1900 Pearl in the Dallas Arts District, effective Dec. 17. The firm's new office space will allow for further growth in Dallas.
