Trump asked the U.S. Senate to confirm J. Campbell Barker–Deputy Solicitor General for Texas–and Michael J. Truncale–a partner at Orgain Bell & Tucker–both for the Eastern District of Texas. The Texas cohort also includes Matthew J. Kacsmaryk, deputy general counsel for the First Liberty Institute, for the Northern District of Texas and David Steven Morales, a partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman, for the Southern District of Texas.
