Husch Blackwell has expanded its Texas public law practice by adding to its Houston office three veterans of the local government scene.

Joining the practice Monday are former Harris County Judge Robert Eckels, who in that role was chief executive for Harris County government; former Houston City Attorney Arturo Michel; and Sandy Hellums-Gomez, a public law attorney who represents educational institutions and governments.
