Below, in addition to profiles of our Attorney of the Year finalists and our Lawyers on the Rise honorees, you'll find Q&As with our Lifetime Achievers, Diversity and Inclusion Champions, Most Effective Dealmakers, Best Mentors and GC Impact honorees. You'll also find Q&As with key attorneys from the teams that make up our Litigation Department of the Year honorees for midsize and small firms.
We've found that the best way to gain an understanding of what makes great lawyers tick is to simply ask them. We think you'll find the insights and advice they provide to be valuable to attorneys at all stages of their careers.
What's most striking about these honorees is that, in addition to being fantastic lawyers who have dedicated themselves to building exceptional careers, they've also dedicated themselves to advancing the profession as a whole.
Whether through volunteer work, mentorship or deep involvement in professional organizations, these honorees embody what we mean by "professional excellence"—a commitment to meeting and exceeding the high standards set for attorneys and to working toward the common goal of elevating that bar even higher to promote justice and service.
An awards ceremony in their honor will be held on Sept. 18 at the Belo Mansion in Dallas. The Attorney of the Year award winner will be announced at the ceremony.
